HomePNA
The communication media is over coaxial cable (TV signal line) or twisted pair line (phone line). Based on HomePNA 3.1 standards, the communication data rate is around 180Mbps.
HomePlug AV
The communication media is over power line.
The communication data rate is ~200Mbps or ~500Mbps.
These 2 solutions have their advantages and drawbacks, the choice of suitable product is dependent on the implementing environment.
